About the Role

We are looking for a Content Strategist to shape what NYC should create, for whom, and why.

You will be responsible for understanding audience interests, trends, business goals and educational needs and turning these insights into strong content ideas, formats and clear briefs for the production team.

Key Responsibilities

Research audience interests, industry trends, competitors and content opportunities.

Develop content pillars, themes, series and ideas across YouTube, Reels, social media and educational content.

Convert business and marketing objectives into clear content strategies.

Create content briefs covering topics, hooks, angles and creative directions.

Work with creators, instructors, editors and designers to execute content ideas.

Analyse content performance and identify what should be scaled, improved or discontinued.





Maintain a consistent and high-quality content pipeline for the production team.

Track emerging content formats and trends relevant to NYC's audience.

Ensure content ideas align with the brand, audience and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

2–4 years of experience in Content Strategy, Editorial, Media, Social Media or Digital Content.

Strong understanding of audience behaviour, research and storytelling.

Good understanding of YouTube, short-form and social media content.

Ability to convert insights into clear and executable content ideas.

Solid analytical, creative and communication skills.

Good understanding of digital content trends and platforms.

Experience in EdTech, digital media, creator-led brands or education content is preferred.
