We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist with expertise in Retina and Phacoemulsification to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in comprehensive ophthalmic evaluation, retinal disease management, and cataract surgery, with strong clinical and surgical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and OPD consultations.

- Diagnose and manage various ophthalmic and retinal conditions.

- Perform Phacoemulsification cataract surgeries independently.

- Manage patients with diabetic retinopathy, retinal disorders, and other medical retina conditions.

- Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.

- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings.

- Counsel patients and their attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, and follow-up care.

- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

- Coordinate with optometrists, nurses, OT staff, and other healthcare professionals.

- Handle ophthalmic emergencies and minor procedures when required.

- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control practices,



and patient-safety standards.

- Maintain high standards of patient care and ethical medical practice.

Eligibility

- MBBS + MS / DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.

- Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration.

- Relevant fellowship/training in Retina and Phacoemulsification will be an added advantage.

- Candidates with independent Phaco surgical experience will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Robust expertise in Phacoemulsification and IOL implantation.

- Good knowledge and clinical experience in Retina / Medical Retina.

- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.

- Excellent surgical and microsurgical skills.

- Good patient counselling and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the clinical team.

Experience

- Relevant post-qualification experience in Ophthalmology preferred.

- Candidates with strong independent Phaco and Retina experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
