Role Name - Assistant Manager - Component Development Electronics

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of electrical/electronic components from concept to production.

Define electrical specifications, functional requirements, and interfaces for components.

Develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture.

Work closely with suppliers for component design, development, validation, and sourcing.

Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA for electrical components.

Plan and execute DVP&R; (Design Verification Plan & Report) for validation testing.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO, IEC, AIS, EMI/EMC, safety).

Support integration of components in vehicle systems or EVSE systems.

Troubleshoot electrical issues, failures, and field concerns.

Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and localization activities.

Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams for smooth product launch.

Participate in APQP, PPAP documentation and reviews.

Key Components/Systems Exposure

EVSE (AC/DC chargers)

Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Power Electronics (inverters, converters)

Wiring Harness & connectors

Sensors & actuators

Control units (ECU/PCB assemblies)





Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

5 10 years of experience in E-component development or automotive electrical systems.

Robust understanding of electrical design fundamentals and circuit behavior.

Experience in schematic design tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, etc.).

Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Modbus, Ethernet).

Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP processes.

Understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding, and shielding practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Electric Vehicles (EV), EVSE, or Charging Systems.

Knowledge of high-voltage systems (up to 1000V) safety and design.

Exposure to simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice).

Hands-on experience in PCB design and testing.

Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) is an advantage.
