1. Job Purpose To oversee finance commercial functions in the company head the distributor, modern trade, ecommerce, various channel partners commercial and depot commercial. KPIs include ensuring credit hygiene, efficient and timely settlement of various claims, streamlining operations at all depots, timely reconciliation of accounts with channel partners and ensuring overall commercial hygiene

2. Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Claims: Lead teams ensuring in-depth understanding of pricing and claims calculation, validation mechanisms and timely settlement of different types of distributor and channel partner claims like secondary discount, promos, subsidies, etc and depot claims like secondary transportation, rent, CFA commission and reimbursements, etc
2. Accounts Receivables: Manage and monitor accounts receivable by tracking payments and ensuring timely collection
3. Credit Control Management: Manage and monitor the credit policies by assessing customer creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding
4. Inventory Control: Responsible for inventory hygiene,



conducting physical audits, ensuring system hygiene of transactions
5. CFA management: Responsible for maintaining commercial controls and handling of CFAs
6. Depot Compliances: Ensuring various statutory compliances (taxes, audits, etc),licenses are in place
7. Liaising with Supply Chain: In-depth liaising with Logistics teams to ensure billing and inventory hygiene
8. Co-ordination with Sales team: Regular co-ordination with Sales teams to ensure smooth billing and ensuring timely receivables collection and claims settlement
9. Analysis to ensure correct claim settlement: Conduct various analysis on primary/ secondary/ tertiary sales to ensure no excess claims are settled/ there are no errors in claims settlement
10. Setting SOPs: Establish SOPs for different commercial arrangements to ensure there are no leakages

- Efficient and timely claims validation and settlement
- Ensuring credit control and timely receivables
- Timely reconciliation of accounts
- Setting SOPs for various commercial processes

4. Skills & Competencies

- Robust knowledge of pricing, claims settlement, depot/branch accounting processes
- Knowledge of distributor and channel partner credit handling
- Inventory and stock control understanding
- Expertise in reconciliations
- Familiarity with tax and statutory requirements at depot level.
