We are hiring for growing retail industry for International Brands job Purpose The Procurement Executive ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven sourcing of materials,
services, and vendor partnerships essential for Indias retail operations.
The role supports store build-outs, operations, supply chain efficiency, and compliance with procurement governance to maintain GL Indias luxury retail standards to manage the suppliers and work around and maintain SAP governance.
Job Context In Indias growing premium retail setting, procurement must navigate fluctuating market prices,
vendor capability variability, and stringent timelines for project and operational readiness.
Within Galeries Lafayette India, the procurement function plays a critical role in:
- Ensuring high-quality vendor sourcing aligned with global luxury standards
- Process PO, PR, GRN basis the request from commercial team.
- Maintaining seamless operational supply for Retail, Projects, IT, Marketing, SCM, and
Admin teams
- Upholding ethical procurement practices, documentation governance, and SAP-based
workflows
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA MM Module, with hands-on
experience in creating Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Educational background in B.Com, CA Dropout, or CA Internship experience.
- Strong knowledge of procurement workflows and vendor management processes.
- Good understanding of tax applicability and taxation concepts related to procurement
processes.
- Understanding of the General ledger in accountancy for Debtor and Creditors.
