Are you a commercially focused professional with strong expertise in bid management, commercial modelling, finance, and proposal development?

OCS Services is looking for a Commercial Developer to join our Bids & Strategy team , based in Mumbai , with the flexibility to be transferred to Dubai if required .

This role will be responsible for developing commercial models for bids, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, supporting proposal development, identifying commercial deviations and risks, and ensuring effective control of costing and finance-related documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting , excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills , and the ability to develop structured commercial documentation to support bid and chance evaluation.

As we continue to strengthen our Bids & Strategy and Integrated Projects capabilities , we are seeking a commercially driven Commercial Developer to support our bid and proposal activities.





This is an opportunity to work closely with Finance & Accounts, Contracts, Legal, suppliers, and service providers , contributing directly to commercial modelling, risk assessment, bid evaluation, and proposal development.

What You Will Do In this role, you will:

- Develop commercial models for each bid.
- Interact with suppliers and service providers to obtain quotations in line with bid requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance & Accounts, Contracts, and Legal teams to ensure all relevant clauses are effectively incorporated into the commercial model.
- Develop terms and conditions for proposal submissions and validate them against standard terms and conditions templates.
- Coordinate with Legal, Contracts, and Finance teams to develop pre-bid query documents .
- Identify and highlight commercial deviations requiring attention or approval.
- Develop risk management documents , highlighting key risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies for the BVH / Bid-in-Charge.
- Ensure effective document control and revision control of costing sheets and other Finance & Accounts-related documents.
- Develop bid approval notes and opportunity evaluation sheets .
- Support the preparation and organization of commercial documentation required for bid submissions and internal approvals.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial requirements are addressed effectively and within the bid process.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

- MBA in Finance – Mandatory.
- Engineering background – Desirable.

Technical & Functional Skills




- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting .
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Microsoft Word and Excel .
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred .
- Ability to create, format, and maintain professional commercial documents and Excel spreadsheets .
- Ability to use Excel formulas and tools efficiently .
- Good understanding of commercial modelling, costing documentation, and bid-related financial information.

- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Finance, Contracts, Legal, suppliers, and service providers .

- Strong ownership of assigned bid-related deliverables.
