Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, quantity verification, BOQ management, contractor coordination, and ensuring that project work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, supervisors, and labour teams.
- Study and interpret architectural and structural drawings before and during execution.
- Prepare, review, and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and compare it with actual site requirements.
- Take accurate site measurements and prepare quantity calculations for completed and ongoing work.
- Monitor quantities of materials and work executed to avoid wastage and cost overruns.
- Identify variations, additional work, and discrepancies between the BOQ, drawings, and actual site conditions.
- Supervise civil activities including excavation, RCC work, brickwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and other construction works.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure proper workmanship and adherence to project standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports,



measurement sheets, quantity records, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with the project manager, architects, consultants, and other technical teams for smooth project execution.
- Assist in material planning and ensure timely availability of required materials at the site.
- Verify contractor work and support measurement and billing-related documentation.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 14 years of relevant experience in civil construction, building projects, or site execution.
- Robust knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, site measurement, and quantity calculations.
- Good understanding of civil construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, labour teams, and multiple site activities efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to quality and project timelines.
