Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise construction activities, coordinate site operations, monitor quality and material requirements, and ensure that work is executed safely and according to project specifications.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, monitoring structural and civil works, managing site resources, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with contractors and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at the project site.
- Check reinforcement arrangements, structural steel work, and Bar Bending Schedules before concrete-related activities.
- Inspect reinforcement work to ensure it is executed according to approved drawings and project requirements.
- Coordinate concrete pouring activities and ensure required checks are completed before pouring.
- Conduct and monitor concrete quality checks, including slump tests and cube sampling/compression testing.
- Inspect construction materials received at the site and verify quantities and specifications against approved requirements.
- Monitor cement, aggregates, and other construction materials and maintain proper stock records.
- Allocate daily activities to workers and coordinate manpower deployment according to project requirements.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure assigned work is completed within the required timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, and suppliers regarding site-related requirements.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, material consumption records,



and work documentation.
- Track project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays or site-related issues.
- Monitor material consumption and prepare material usage records as required.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
- Ensure site activities comply with approved plans, local construction regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable permits.
- Assist the project team in resolving technical and execution-related issues at the site.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- Experience in civil construction and site supervision will be preferred.
- Knowledge of reinforcement work, Bar Bending Schedules, and structural activities.
- Understanding of concrete quality-control procedures.
- Ability to supervise workers and subcontractors.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and site inventory management.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare site reports and maintain construction records.
- Positive understanding of construction safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
