Ennoconn India, a newly founded subsidiary of Ennoconn Corporation, is expanding its operations and we are excited to invite keen applicants to apply for our newly created role of ECC. This role will be based in Chennai/Puducherry, India.
Job Summary
This position provides excellent experience and career path in solutions provision and integration. Provides key linkage between Engineering, OPM, SLM, Mfg. Engineering and other operations functions in terms of implementing the Engineering Changes.
The primary responsibility of this position is to Review, monitor & implement the Engineering Changes across all Manufacturing Sites at the earliest possibility with minimal disturbance to supply line. It requires analytical skills to review the Engineering Change Orders and strong knowledge in Supply / Demand data to monitor the Change implementations in Mfg. system. In addition, there may be an additional opportunity to cover mainstream NPI projects from a Change Control viewpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include
- Reviewing and understanding the Engineering changes being released thru DR (DR - Development Release also referred as ECO) in terms of applicability for various NCR Mfg.
sites and assess the impacts to the applicable sites.
- Prepare Change summary for all changes (DR Development Releases) The change can include Recent Materials, Material revisions, Bill of material (BOM) Update, Obsolescence, Document updates, drawing updates, supplier changes
- Coordinate with Engineering., OPM & Plant Manufacturing teams for change communication, implementation and to address any queries in the DR
- Support NPI product / Project BOM set-up to meet aggressive project timelines. Track all Engineering releases with implementation dates
- Regular Review of the Pending changes based on the DR disposition and System Supply / Demand Changes with the planners and the Plant ECC Coordinators to control on the changes.
- Uses constructive escalation to address any specific delays in getting the change implemented on priority.
- Attends Stop Order meeting and Change Control Review meeting and circulate Minutes of meeting and drive actions for proper closure.
Job Requirement
Education
- Bachelors degree in engineering with minimum 3 years of experience
Experience:
- Hands on experience with SAP MM Module for material management, BOM maintenance, change implementation, report generation
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Processes.
- Proficient with Software applications like MS Excel, PLM Merlin, SAP
- Knowledge in MS Excel Macro / SQL DB maintenance would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in Engineering Change Control & Customer Service (RMA handling) preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP MM Module (material creation, BOM maintenance, change implementation).
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management processes.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and Office applications.
- Knowledge of Excel Macros or SQL is an added advantage.
Behavioural Skills:
- Strong coordination and communication abilities (written and verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail and process orientation.
- Proactive, organized, and adaptable in handling multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working across global teams and flexible to work in shifts if required.
