Job Summary

We are looking for a data-driven and analytical Category Associate to manage pricing, inventory and category performance for pre-owned cars. The role involves analysing market trends, setting procurement and listing prices, improving sell-through rates and working closely with hub and central teams to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and finalize procurement prices for cars on a daily basis while ensuring healthy margins.
- Track and achieve procurement targets for assigned categories/hubs.
- Review listing prices of cars and benchmark them against current market and competitor pricing.
- Set and update appropriate listing prices to improve sales and inventory movement.
- Take end-to-end ownership of Sell Through Rate (STR) and inventory management across assigned hubs.
- Identify underperforming cohorts using key business and performance metrics.




- Analyse cohort-level issues and identify procurement and sales-side levers to improve performance.
- Coordinate closely with hub teams to support ground-level execution and operational requirements.
- Work with central stakeholders to drive pricing and category-level initiatives.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve category performance.

Candidate Profile:

- 1+ years of experience in category management, pricing, business analytics, operations, procurement or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of pricing, market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
- Comfortable analysing business metrics and identifying performance gaps.
- Solid ownership and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional and ground teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
