About the Role:

We are looking for talented CAE professionals to join our automotive engineering team in Chennai. Candidates with experience in Durability, Crash Analysis, or CAE Modelling/Pre-processing are encouraged to apply.

The role will involve FE model preparation, simulation setup, analysis, result interpretation, and supporting engineering teams in developing robust automotive components and systems.

Responsibilities

- Develop and prepare finite element models using HyperMesh .
- Perform pre-processing, meshing, connectivity, material and property definition.
- Set up and execute CAE simulations based on project requirements.
- Perform durability/structural analysis using Nastran or OptiStruct .
- Perform crash analysis using LS-DYNA .
- Analyze simulation results and identify critical areas.
- Support design optimization and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform model quality checks and resolve modelling/simulation issues.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate analysis findings.
- Collaborate with design, testing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

- CAE Modeller:



0–2 Years
- CAE Analyst – Crash: 2–6 Years
- CAE Analyst – Durability: 3–6 Years

Required Skills:

- For Durability Analysts

- HyperMesh

- Nastran / OptiStruct
- Knowledge of structural durability and fatigue analysis
- Positive understanding of FEA fundamentals
- For Crash Analysts

- Knowledge of crashworthiness and vehicle structural behaviour
- Understanding of crash simulation methodologies

- Understanding of automotive components and engineering drawings

Preferred Skills

- Automotive CAE experience preferred.
