Job Purpose

Perform engineering work related to configuring, organizing,

maintaining and upgrading CAD models. Design and develop models using 3D and 2D CAD tools. Delivery of the assigned task as per agreed scope of work within time and budget with

1 Key Tasks

Responsibilities

Design high quality, robust, and cost effective CAD models by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings,

assembly drawings with the help of CREO 4.0 or Higher.

Develop working drawings from sketches or descriptions developed by counterparts

Creation of Material, documents and BOM in SAP.

Perform easy technical calculations like screw and bolt forces

Selection of standard components considering availability, function and cost.

Ensure components and assemblies to adhere

EVERLLENCE applicable knowledge base and guidelines.

Follow design procedure / templates / Design guides provided by head quarter.

Preparations / follow checklist and applicable process documents for quality aspects for the assigned tasks

Collaborate with counterparts and support mechanical design through detailed design phase

Support to various department such as quality,

purchasing, production, service and external development partners in coordination with Senior

Engineer

High commitment and ownership to his / her roles as an expert

2 Experience Skills (What is required for the role)

Essential

3 to 5 years of experience in the field of mechanical design

Highly Proficient in CREO 4.0 or above version in different modules such as modelling, Assembly, Mechanical routing, sheet metal, drafting etc.

Sound knowledge of PLM system

Application of GD T, identification of critical dimensions.

Expertise in applying complex modeling techniques

Sound knowledge of IC engine (Diesel Engines)

Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques / production technology and constructions methods

Expert in understanding technical drawings and requirements

Sound knowledge of engineering design principles

Sound knowledge of quality systems and quality guidelines

Knowledge of PLM system like Wind-chill, Team Center etc

Knowledge of SAP (ERP Common production system).

Post graduate diploma in tool design from reputed institute

Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, Risk
