Meet Flent ??
Renting in India can be a nightmare.
Think about it: visiting countless houses, arguing over rent, losing money to brokers, sticking to 11-month contracts, and spending lakhs of rupees into furnishing. It's a lot, and honestly, we deserve better.
This is where Flent comes in. We're creating a new standard of urban renting for India.
Imagine walking into a home that feels like it’s straight out of a lifestyle magazine - fully furnished, beautifully staged, all you need to bring is your clothes and your vibe. No need to persuade landlords, no dealing with brokers, and no 11-month lock-ins. It’s not just a vision; it’s what we believe the top 1% in India truly deserves.
We started Flent because we were fed up. Trying to find a decent place in the city was a nightmare. But beyond the frustration was a deep-seated passion for home decor and an eye for detail that we couldn't ignore. Numbers revealed that ~$10 Bn is spent annually on urban renting — and that was the tipping point. It convinced us of the potential to craft the future of renting, designed for those who demand more and compromise less.
Flent is backed by top-tier VCs and angels. Since our inception in Jan’24, we’ve launched 110+ homes in Bangalore, went viral on X more than we imagined, and crossed $1,000,000 in annual GMV.
Meet Your Team ???
Hey — I’m Dhiram, and I lead Growth at Flent. ??
I think about growth pretty broadly.
Marketing gets people interested. Product gives them a reason to stay. Sales converts intent into revenue. Operations delivers the promise. Customer success determines whether they come back and refer someone else.
To me, growth is the system connecting all of this.
I’m looking for someone who can operate across that entire system — not as a coordinator, but as an owner.
Someone who can look at a business problem and ask:
Where is the opportunity? What is stopping us from capturing it? What does the data say? What should we test? And how do we turn the answer into a repeatable growth engine?
You’ll have a lot of autonomy. I’m high-trust and prefer to be hands-off — but that only works when numbers are understood, initiatives are owned end to end, and problems get solved without someone having to chase them.
If you enjoy switching between strategy and execution, going deep into a funnel in the morning, shaping a new growth bet in the afternoon, and pushing a cross-functional initiative to closure by evening — you’ll probably enjoy this role.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Business Growth Manager to own some of Flent’s highest-leverage growth problems.
This is a broad business role sitting at the intersection of growth, revenue, marketing, product, and operations.
You’ll identify opportunities, build the case for pursuing them, bring the right teams together, and stay close enough to execution to make sure they actually translate into business outcomes.
You won’t just analyse the funnel and recommend what should change.
You’ll own the change.
That could mean opening up a current acquisition channel, improving conversion across a broken part of the funnel, testing a new pricing model, finding a recent customer segment, building a partnership motion, improving retention,
or turning a messy manual process into a repeatable system.
Some problems will need analysis.
Some will need creativity.
Some will need you to get five people in a room and make something happen.
The Common Thread Is Simple
Find growth. Prove it. Scale it.
What You’ll Broadly Do
- Own growth charters end to end Take ambiguous business opportunities from problem definition to measurable outcome. Build the plan, align stakeholders, drive execution, and stay accountable for the result.
- Find new sources of growth Identify new customer segments, acquisition channels, partnerships, pricing opportunities, retention loops, and GTM ideas that can materially move the business.
- Improve the core revenue engine Go deep into acquisition, conversion, occupancy, retention, referrals, and LTV. Understand where value is leaking and fix it.
- Turn data into business decisions Build a strong point of view on what deserves attention, time, and money. Use customer behaviour, funnel data, market signals, and unit economics to decide what to do next.
- Drive cross-functional execution Work across marketing, sales, product, CX, and operations to turn ideas into outcomes. You won’t always have formal authority — you’ll need to create clarity and momentum anyway.
- Run experiments with commercial intent Test new channels, messaging, pricing, workflows, offers, and customer journeys. Know what you’re trying to prove, what success looks like, and when to double down or move on.
- Build repeatable systems around what works Turn successful initiatives into playbooks, dashboards, SOPs, and operating rhythms that keep working without constant intervention.
What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
- Going deep into funnels, cohorts, unit economics, and customer behaviour to identify the biggest opportunities
- Working with sales, marketing, product, CX, and ops teams to understand what’s happening on the ground
- Building business cases and prioritising which growth bets are worth pursuing
- Designing and running experiments across acquisition, conversion, pricing, retention, and partnerships
- Speaking to customers and frontline teams to understand the why behind the numbers
- Driving cross-functional projects where ownership is unclear but the business impact is meaningful
- Running weekly growth reviews and making sure insights turn into decisions and decisions turn into execution
- Building dashboards, playbooks, and systems that make successful growth motions repeatable
- Keeping a close eye on outcomes — revenue, occupancy, conversion, retention, CAC, payback, and LTV
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has 4–7 years of experience across growth, strategy, business operations, revenue, category management, consulting, founder’s office, or similar roles in high-velocity companies
- Thinks commercially — you naturally connect decisions back to revenue, margin, retention, payback, and business value
- Can independently own ambiguous problems without needing a perfectly defined brief
- Is analytical enough to go deep into the numbers, but doesn’t confuse analysis with progress
- Has strong execution muscle — you can move from hypothesis to plan to action without losing momentum
- Understands how growth works beyond marketing — across sales, product, pricing, customer experience, and retention
- Is comfortable influencing teams without needing formal authority
- Has strong judgment around prioritisation — you know the difference between something interesting and something actually important
- Thinks in systems and leverage, not one-off fixes
- Is relentlessly curious about customers, competitors, markets, products, and business models
- Communicates clearly and can simplify complex problems for different stakeholders
- Doesn't need follow-ups to close loops
- Owns outcomes like personal money
Your previous title matters less to us than the way you think. You might be a growth operator who wants a wider canvas.
A strategy person who enjoys execution too much to stay in strategy. A revenue operator who understands marketing. A consultant who wants to stop making recommendations and start owning outcomes. Or someone whose stopped mattering three months after joining their last startup.
What matters is that when you see a business problem, your instinct is to understand it, solve it, and then figure out how to make the solution scale.
Educational Qualifications Don't Matter To Us.
Curiosity does. Bias for action does. Commercial instinct does. And the ability to turn an idea into an outcome definitely does.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks The fixed cash compensation for this role is upto INR 13 LPA. You’ll be eligible for ESOPs & standard perks beyond the cash component.
The role is based in Indiranagar, Bangalore. We do not operate remotely, you should be based in Bangalore to be eligible for this role.

Our Values
It is very important for us that you go through the culture vibe of Flent before you think of applying. We constantly evolve as individuals and as an organization, but we aim to keep these values at the core of our functioning till the day this company exists.

The Hiring Process
We don’t follow a one-size-fits-all hiring process at Flent. Each role comes with its own way of evaluating what “great” looks like, and we shape the process accordingly.
For this role, the process will likely include a few conversations with the hiring manager and the co-founders, giving us a chance to understand how you think, what you care about, and how you approach your craft. Along the way, we may also share a short, time-bound assignment to see how you translate ideas into execution.
At every step, we’re looking beyond just output. We’re paying attention to your curiosity, your judgment, and the way you engage with ideas and people. That’s what helps us figure out if there’s a strong fit on both sides.
Given the volume of applications, we’re only able to reach out when we’d like to move forward. Once we do, we aim to keep the process tight and complete it within 7 to 14 days.
