Better Ledger Inc is looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team and lead business development efforts across the US Accounting & Bookkeeping market.

THE ROLE

- Position: Business Development Manager – US Accounting Sales
- Market: United States
- Focus: Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax & Finance Services
- Experience: 1–2+ years in relevant US B2B sales / business development
- Employment: Full-time

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Identify and develop current business opportunities across the US
- Prospect US businesses, CPA firms, accounting firms, and SMBs
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email, cold calling, referrals, and other channels
- Conduct discovery calls and understand client accounting requirements
- Present and position our accounting and bookkeeping solutions
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with US decision-makers
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets




- Work closely with the operations and accounting teams to ensure smooth client onboarding

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- 1–2+ years of experience in US-focused B2B sales or business development
- Experience selling Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax, Payroll, or related financial services is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of the US business market
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to generate and convert leads
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable communicating with US business owners, CFOs, Controllers, and CPA firms
- Highly target-driven with a strong closing mindset
