Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Marketing

Experience: 5–8 Years

Location: Vandalur, Chennai

Industry: Sheet Metal Forming / Industrial Marketing

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / MBA Marketing / Business Administration or related field

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Generate enquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.

Coordinate with internal teams for quotation, costing and order execution.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

Visit customers regularly and understand their business requirements.

Negotiate commercial terms and finalize business agreements.

Prepare sales reports, forecasts and MIS reports.

Follow up on payments and ensure customer satisfaction.





Collaborate with production, quality and purchase teams for smooth project execution.

Represent the company during client meetings and business presentations.

Required Skills

Robust communication and negotiation skills.

Good knowledge of industrial sales and customer handling.

Proven ability to generate new business leads.

Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.

Team player with leadership qualities.

Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in Business Development, Industrial Marketing or Sheet Metal Industry.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
