Brief

We are looking for a Business Development Intern who is confident, articulate, curious, and genuinely enjoys talking to people. This is a paid, part-time, in-office role at our Bandra workspace and a great way to get real sales experience early.

What You Will Be Doing

- Call inbound leads and have initial conversations to understand their requirements and assess fit
- Follow up with leads over calls, WhatsApp, and email to keep conversations moving
- Ask the right questions, understand what a prospect is looking for, and capture relevant information
- Maintain and update our lead tracker accurately, including call outcomes, follow-ups, lead status, and next steps
- Coordinate with the team when a lead is ready to move to the next stage of the sales process
- Sit in on sales calls and pitches to understand how we approach potential clients
- Assist the business development team with basic research, outreach, and other sales-related tasks

Requirements

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in any discipline. Marketing, communications,



or something similar is a bonus, not a requirement
- Excellent, eloquent communication skills are non-negotiable. You should be able to write a follow-up message that makes someone smile and hold a conversation that makes someone trust you within five minutes
- Confident enough to strike up a conversation with a total stranger and make it feel natural, not scripted
- Strong interpersonal skills, you build rapport fast, and people remember talking to you
- Good attention to detail, your trackers and lead updates don't have loose ends
- Proactive and hungry to learn everything there is to know about sales, business development, and marketing
