Role Description — Business Development & Market Intelligence Associate The Business Development & Market Intelligence Associate will support Mupill's growth by helping us identify potential businesses, understand markets and industries, create professional connections, and develop genuine business opportunities.

This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity suitable for students, freshers and early-career individuals. Previous skilled experience is not required.

Your work may include

- Researching markets,



industries and potential businesses.
- Identifying companies and decision-makers who may benefit from Mupill.
- Building and maintaining prospect lists.
- Working with leads provided by Mupill as well as finding and approaching your own potential clients.
- Conducting cold calls, email outreach and other professional communication.
- Introducing Mupill and establishing the initial relationship.
- Understanding a prospect's basic business situation and requirement.
- Maintaining follow-ups and keeping prospect information organised.
- Using Excel/Google Sheets and other basic business tools to maintain records.
- Observing market trends and sharing useful findings with the Mupill team.
- Bringing genuine and qualified business opportunities to Mupill.

You will not be expected to independently provide consulting, strategy or technical solutions to clients. Once a potential opportunity is identified, the founder/Mupill team will take over the detailed business discussion, diagnosis, solution design and delivery.

This allows the associate to focus on what they do best: finding the right businesses, creating the right connections and developing those relationships professionally.





The role is remote and requires someone who can work independently, communicate professionally, stay organised and consistently follow through on their responsibilities.

Qualifications & What We're Looking For

No prior professional experience is required.

We are open to students, freshers and motivated early-career individuals who are willing to learn and take initiative.

You should have

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to research businesses and information online.
- Confidence or willingness to learn how to communicate with business owners and professionals.
- Basic familiarity with AI tools and willingness to learn their practical use.
- Good organisational and follow-up habits.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Curiosity about businesses, markets and how organisations operate.
- A willingness to learn rather than simply follow instructions.

Training & Development Mupill will provide 5 days of paid training covering the practical basics required for the role, including:
- Understanding Mupill and its work.
- Market and prospect research.
- Professional outreach and communication.
- Basic lead management.
- Using productivity tools.
- Practical use of AI tools for research and day-to-day work.

You don't need to know everything before joining. We are looking for someone with the willingness to learn, communicate and grow.
