We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst (Lending Domain) to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, operations, credit risk teams, and technical developers. In this role, you will lead the requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for key lending applicationspanning Loan Origination Systems (LOS),

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

- Lead requirements-elicitation sessions with key stakeholders, including Credit Risk, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams.
- Translate business needs into explicit, actionable technical specifications, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and User Stories.
- Map out end-to-end loan lifecycles: Application, Onboarding/KYC, Credit Decisioning, Disbursement, Servicing, Amortization, and Collections/Recovery.

2. Systems & Process Design

- Design and document As-Is and To-Be business processes using process flow diagrams (BPMN, UML, MS Visio/Lucidchart).
- Define integrations with external ecosystems, including credit bureaus, digital KYC/AML providers, payment gateways, and core banking ledgers.
- Collaborate with technical architects and software engineers to ensure solutions meet system requirements and scalability needs.

3. Testing & Delivery

- Develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test scenarios,



and detailed test cases based on functional specs.
- Coordinate and oversee UAT execution with business users, triage reported defects, and validate fixes.
- Support project managers in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Domain Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Retail, Commercial, or Digital Lending (e.g., Mortgages, Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Leasing, or SME/Corporate Credit).
- Core BA Skills: Proven experience creating BRDs, FRDs, Process Maps, Wireframes, and Agile User Stories with acceptance criteria.
- Systems Exposure: Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data analysis, mapping, and database querying.
- Experience with API integration workflows (REST/SOAP).
- Methodologies: Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Hybrid delivery environments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Requirement Accuracy: Precision of BRDs and User Stories with minimal post-sprint changes.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Smooth communication and alignment between business and IT.
- Delivery Quality: Minimal functional defects found in UAT and post-production rollout.
