BIM MEP Coordinator – Data Centre ProjectsRole Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM MEP Coordinator with 7–10 years of overall experience , including significant experience in Data Centre projects . The candidate should have strong expertise in multidisciplinary MEP coordination, BIM standards, clash detection, model QA/QC, and construction-level BIM deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate MEP BIM models for Data Centre projects.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and other specialist MEP services.
- Manage multidisciplinary coordination between MEP, Architecture, Structure, and specialist disciplines .
- Develop and review models in accordance with LOD 300–500 , BEP, and project-specific BIM standards.
- Perform clash detection, clash analysis, and resolution using Navisworks.
- Coordinate critical Data Centre systems including HVAC, chilled water, electrical containment, cable trays, piping, fire protection, and associated services .
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 principles , project BIM standards, naming conventions, and information requirements.
- Manage federated models, coordination meetings, clash reports, issue tracking, and closure.
- Review shop drawings, coordinated drawings, construction drawings, and technical submissions .
- Conduct BIM model audits, QA/QC, and compliance checks .
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support BIM Manager in implementing BEP, BIM workflows, modelling standards, and project execution procedures .




- Monitor team progress, model development, and deliverables against project schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Modellers and Junior Coordinators .
- Support model-based quantity take-off, BOQ, asset information, and handover requirements .
- Identify coordination risks and develop practical solutions to improve constructability and installation coordination .

Required Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline .
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering may be considered for candidates with strong relevant Data Centre BIM experience.
- Certification or formal training in BIM/Revit/Navisworks will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of MEP design, construction, and coordination practices .

Required Experience & Skills
- 7–10 years of overall BIM/MEP experience .
- Mandatory Data Centre project experience with exposure to complex MEP systems and critical infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC .
- Valuable knowledge of LOD 300, LOD 350, LOD 400, and LOD 500 .
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650, BEP, EIR, BIM standards, and information management .
- Experience in clash detection, model federation, BIM coordination, QA/QC, and model auditing .
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams .
