We are looking for an experienced Automotive Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Automotive Test Automation, HiL Validation, Battery Management Systems (BMS), EV Charging Systems, ECU-TEST Framework Development, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for advanced automotive validation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for BMS and EV Charging ECU validation using Tracertronic ECU-TEST.
- Develop reusable Python-based automation libraries and utilities for HiL bench control, signal stimulation, measurement capture, automated reporting, and pass/fail evaluation.
- Integrate ECU-TEST projects with NI/dSPACE-based test systems, Vector CANoe, and other validation tools for end-to-end automated test execution.
- Lead the adoption of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies by authoring and maintaining Gherkin feature files and executable test scenarios.
- Generate automated test cases from system requirements, FMEAs, fault conditions, and safety analyses.
- Design and execute automated validation for BMS functionalities including:
- SoC / SoH / SoP Estimation
- Cell Balancing
- Thermal Management
- Contactor Control
- Isolation Monitoring
- HV Safety Functions
• Develop and execute EV Charging validation scenarios covering:
- AC Charging
- DC Quick Charging
- CCS1 / CCS2
- ISO 15118 Communication
- EVSE Interoperability
• Configure and maintain ECU-TEST integrations for CANoe, diagnostic tools, and HIL platforms.
- Build and support CI/CD-based automated test execution workflows.
- Perform test analysis, defect investigation, root cause analysis, and test report generation.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality and functional safety standards including ISO 26262.
Must Have Skills:
✔ Expertise in Python Programming
✔ Expertise in Tracertronic ECU-TEST Tool
✔ Strong understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin-Based Testing
✔ Experience working with NI or dSPACE-based Test Systems as a Test Automation Engineer
✔ Knowledge of CAN Protocol and/or UDS Diagnostics (Preferred)
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Automotive Test Automation and HiL Validation
- Hands-on experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience in EV Charging domain validation
- ECU-TEST project development and customization
- Python scripting for automation and test development

- Experience working in Automotive Validation & Verification Programs
