We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Forge Developer to design, build, deploy and support custom applications and integrations within the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and Atlassian administrators to extend platform capabilities through Forge applications, APIs, automation and integrations.

The role includes the development and support of existing and future Forge applications, Jira Studio solutions and custom enhancements across Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Forge Application Development

- Design and develop applications using Atlassian Forge.
- Create custom functionality where native Jira capabilities are insufficient.
- Build secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing Forge applications.

Jira & Confluence Extensions

- Develop custom UI modules.
- Extend Jira and Confluence functionality.
- Build workflow extensions and custom business logic.
- Create custom dashboards and reporting solutions.

Integration Development

- Develop integrations with:
- SAP
- Azure Active Directory
- SQL Databases
- REST APIs
- Third-party platforms
- Design secure data exchange mechanisms.
- Implement webhook and event-based integrations.

Jira Service Management Enhancements

- Develop custom request intake solutions.
- Extend approval workflows.
- Build dynamic forms and advanced validation logic.
- Enhance customer portal experiences.

Jira Studio Development

- Create and maintain Jira Studio applications.
- Support application lifecycle management.




- Develop enhancements based on business requirements.

Application Support & Maintenance

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Support deployments and release management.
- Maintain technical documentation.

Development Governance

- Follow Atlassian development best practices.
- Support CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure secure development standards are followed.
