About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience and a proven track record of leading development teams. This role involves overseeing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices, and driving technical excellence across projects.

The Associate Technical

Lead will be responsible for designing scalable architectures, optimizing code performance, and mentoring junior developers. Additionally, the role requires active collaboration with stakeholders to finalize technical designs, support deployment processes, and maintain high standards of security and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative legal tech solutions that have a meaningful impact on clients worldwide.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A strong foundation in software development principles and practices is essential, along with relevant industry experience.

Required Skills

- Minimum of 5+ years of extensive experience in Python development,



with a solid understanding of frameworks such as Django and Flask.
- Experience mentoring and leading at least two developers, fostering a team-oriented and productive team environment.
- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining microservices architectures, cloud infrastructure, and containerization using Docker.
- Strong knowledge of AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models such as DeepSeek and Llama. Skilled in prompt engineering for effective integration of LLMs into applications.
- Expertise in performance profiling, memory optimization, and troubleshooting to enhance application efficiency and scalability.
- Hands-on experience in rapidly building and executing Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) using diverse technology stacks and open-source frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor.io, and Windsurf, and the ability to leverage these tools to boost developer productivity.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and efficient deployments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on debugging, code optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and enforce best practices throughout the SDLC, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows.
- Lead and mentor a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the Technical Lead and Manager,



to finalize technical design documents such as wireframes, database schemas, and pseudocode.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable application architectures, including microservices, cloud infrastructure, and Docker-based deployments.
- Optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability, ensuring high-quality standards are met across projects.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, implement DevSecOps practices, and ensure security compliance during deployment processes.
- Manage technical debt and execute performance enhancements to improve system efficiency and scalability.
- Execute time-sensitive Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) utilizing open-source frameworks and diverse technology stacks to validate innovative solutions.
- Monitor production environments, ensuring system stability, scalability, and optimal resource utilization.
