Role Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute directly to client projects and internal tools across the full software lifecycle. Working side-by-side with senior engineers, you will write production-ready code, build secure backend endpoints, integrate modern web technologies, and collaborate on software deployment. This role offers hands-on growth, exposure to modern DevOps workflows, and structured mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development: Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using Java or Python for backend applications and modern web standards for front-end integration.

API Development & Security: Design, build, test, and maintain secure RESTful APIs. Implement security protocols, authentication schemes, and data validation to prevent common vulnerabilities.

Database Operations: Draft, optimize, and execute database queries and migrations across relational engines (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).

DevOps & Infrastructure Basics: Support containerization and deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and basic AWS services under guidance.

Version Control & Quality: Manage code via Git and GitHub branching workflows, participate in code reviews,



fix bugs, and write unit tests.

Documentation & Collaboration: Help construct explicit technical documentation and actively participate in agile/scrum team ceremonies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Core Technical Skills

Programming Languages: Hands-on experience in either Java or Python.

Backend Frameworks: Practical experience with associated frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot for Java OR Django / FastAPI / Flask for Python).

Web Fundamentals: Familiarity with core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST-based data flows).

Databases: Solid understanding of relational database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) including SQL query writing and schema design.

API Security (Essential): Demonstrated knowledge of REST API security concepts (e.g., token-based auth like JWT, OAuth2, input sanitization, HTTPS, and API rate limiting basics).

Version Control (Mandatory): Proficient with Git (commits, branching, merging) and GitHub/GitLab workflows.

Bonus / Cloud & DevOps Exposure:

Basic conceptual knowledge or hands-on exposure to:

AWS (EC2, S3, RDS basics)

Containerization with Docker

Container orchestration using Kubernetes

CI/CD automation pipelines via Jenkins

Education & Soft Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Solid grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate well within team environments, act on code review feedback, and adapt quickly to modern technologies.

Pay: From ₹120,000.00 per year
