Purpose/Objective

Senior Executive - Master Planning plays a vital role in supporting the planning and development of airport infrastructure.

This position is responsible for conducting analyses, preparing reports, and assisting in the execution of master planning initiatives.

The Senior Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all planning activities align with the airport's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiencies

Key Responsibilities of Role

Support in Airport Master Plan (AMP) Execution: Assist in the execution and refinement of the Airport Master Plan, focusing on airside, landside, and terminal development projects.

Help in assessing current and future infrastructure requirements based on growth forecasts.

Research and Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive research to gather relevant data that supports master planning activities by sourcing information from various databases, reports, and industry publications to ensure a robust data foundation.

Analyse the collected data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights and use these findings to provide actionable recommendations that inform strategic planning decisions and enhance project outcomes.

Project Management and Documentation: Ensure that all project activities adhere to established timelines with regular monitoring of progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of planning activities.





Support the creation and monitoring of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for master planning activities.

Technical Design Specifications: Gather and provide inputs to Consultants in creating technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints that guide the execution of master planning projects.

Monitor the progress of consultant deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and meet the required quality standards and address any issues or delays promptly to maintain project timelines.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback on planning initiatives.

Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to gather necessary approvals and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices with continuous monitoring of regulatory changes and updates to ensure compliance in all planning activities.

Ensure that all master planning activities adhere to current regulatory requirements by incorporating regulatory guidelines into project plans and documentation to avoid legal and compliance issues.

Detailed Reporting:



Prepare detailed reports on planning activities, including progress updates, capacity analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Create presentations for internal meetings and stakeholder reviews, summarizing key findings and recommendations.

Learning and Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in team discussions and team-oriented projects, sharing insights and supporting peers in their tasks.

Assist in knowledge transfer by sharing information and resources related to master planning processes and airport operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Airport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Work Experience: 5-8 years of experience in master planning or architectural design.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.

g.

, Excel, GIS, AutoCAD) to support planning efforts.
