Role Description The Associate Counsellor role is a full-time remote position focused on helping prospective students plan and pursue international education opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting online counselling sessions, understanding learners’ academic backgrounds and goals, and recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs.

The role involves guiding students through application timelines, documentation requirements, standardized test preparation options, and scholarship or financial aid opportunities.

The Associate

Counsellor also supports learners with visa-related information, maintains accurate records in CRM tools,



follows up regularly with applicants, and collaborates with internal teams to improve counselling processes and student experience.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including active listening, transparent verbal and written communication, and a student-centric counselling approach.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa procedures for key study abroad destinations.
- Competence with online tools and CRM or student management platforms, along with comfort working in a remote, technology-driven environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, follow-ups, and deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to analyze student profiles and recommend suitable academic pathways and institutions based on individual goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, psychology, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic counselling, study abroad advisory, or education services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Openness to continuous learning about new universities, programs, and policy changes in international education.
