Role Description The Assistant System Engineer is a full time, remote role responsible for supporting the stability, performance, and security of PInterview’s online platform. On a day-to-day basis, this role assists in monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and handling system administration tasks such as user management, configuration updates, and basic server operations.

The Assistant System

Engineer investigates technical issues, provides troubleshooting and technical support to internal teams,



and escalates complex problems when necessary. This role also contributes to systems design activities by documenting requirements, testing configurations, and supporting implementation of improvements. Collaboration with engineering, product, and support teams is essential to ensure a reliable, seamless experience for platform users.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to support platform architecture and improvements.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues and assist internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills for managing configurations, users, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and security.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments, basic networking concepts, and monitoring tools is beneficial.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate in a distributed team.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
