Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Security Officer role based at Savita Oil Technologies Limited in Navi Mumbai.
The Assistant Security
Officer will support the Security Officer in implementing and monitoring security protocols across the facility, including access control, visitor management, and surveillance of critical areas. The role involves supervising security staff, scheduling duty rosters,
and ensuring that security procedures are consistently followed. The individual will assist in conducting regular security audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments, as well as preparing basic reports and documentation.
The Assistant Security
Officer will coordinate with internal departments and external agencies when required, respond to security incidents and emergencies, and help train personnel on safety and security practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or corporate security operations, including access control, patrolling, and incident response.
- Knowledge of security systems and tools such as CCTV, alarm systems, and visitor management processes.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify potential security risks proactively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with security staff, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, write clear incident reports, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Physical fitness and readiness to work in shifts, including weekends or nights, as operationally required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or petrochemical environments is an advantage.
- Relevant security or safety certifications, or prior service in disciplined forces (e.g., armed forces, police, home guards), are preferred.
