Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Programs to lead the end-to-end implementation of large-scale CSR and community development initiatives across multiple locations in India. The role requires an individual who can seamlessly manage programme design, implementation, stakeholder engagement, partner management, monitoring, and reporting while working closely with corporate clients, implementation partners, government institutions, and internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities, experience in managing infrastructure and community-based interventions, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver measurable social impact.
Client Experience and Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate CSR clients and key stakeholders.
- Ensure a high-quality client experience through regular engagement, timely communication, and proactive problem-solving.
- Participate in client review meetings and present programme progress, impact, and implementation updates.
- Support client renewals by demonstrating programme quality, impact, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with government departments, local institutions, implementation partners, vendors, and community representatives to facilitate smooth programme execution.
Programme Design &
- Development
- Support the design of CSR programmes based on community needs assessments and client priorities.
- Prepare concept notes, proposals, budgets, implementation plans, and project documentation.
- Conduct landscape assessments, institutional mapping, and feasibility studies for new programme locations.
- Develop implementation frameworks, work plans,
monitoring indicators, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify innovative approaches and best practices to strengthen programme design and delivery.
Programme Implementation &
- Monitoring
- Manage end-to-end implementation of multi-location CSR programmes across education, livelihoods, healthcare, WASH, and community development initiatives.
- Coordinate community needs assessments, partner onboarding, programme planning, and implementation across multiple project locations.
- Manage implementation partners, vendors, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, community organizations, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Oversee infrastructure development and community asset creation, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Plan and coordinate community engagement activities, employee volunteering initiatives, awareness campaigns, workshops, and milestone events.
- Develop detailed implementation plans and ensure timely execution of all programme activities.
- Monitor programme progress against milestones and proactively identify and resolve implementation challenges.
- Coordinate with Monitoring &
- Evaluation teams to capture programme outcomes, beneficiary feedback, case studies, and impact stories.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual programme reports, dashboards,
and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, financial processes, and documentation standards.
- Identify opportunities for programme improvement, scale-up, and replication based on implementation learnings.
Monitoring, Evaluation &
- Learning
- Establish programme monitoring systems and implementation trackers.
- Monitor programme outputs, outcomes, beneficiary reach, and infrastructure utilisation.
- Analyse programme performance and recommend course corrections where required.
- Support impact assessments, third-party evaluations, and learning documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learnt and best practices into programme implementation.
Team Management &
- Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams including Finance, Monitoring &
- Evaluation, Communications, Partnerships, and Operations to ensure seamless programme delivery.
- Support and mentor programme associates and interns, fostering collaboration and career development.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and provide technical guidance to ensure quality execution.
- Ensure timely coordination across multiple stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.
- Contribute to organisational initiatives, knowledge management, and process improvement efforts.
