With a solid presence across Amazon, Flipkart, and its own website, The company operates a fully integrated, in-house model covering sourcing, imports, assembly, and distribution. /n Role Overview /n This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of legal and compliance across the organization. You will act as a business enabler and risk controller, ensuring that all functions operate within regulatory frameworks while supporting growth. /n Key Responsibilities /n Compliance Ownership /n Own and manage a centralized compliance tracker across all functions /n Ensure adherence to: /n /n

- Legal Metrology (packaging, labeling, website, cartons)

/n

- HR compliances (Shops & Establishment, PF, ESIC, PT, POSH)

/n

- Secretarial compliances (MCA filings, board-related requirements)

/n

- GST and taxation regulations

/n

- Marketing and advertising compliance (Meta, Amazon, website claims)

/n

- Insurance and statutory registrations

/n

- Conduct regular compliance audits, identify gaps, and drive complete closure

/n

- Proactively highlight risk areas and non-compliance issues to leadership

/n

- IP & Brand Protection

/n

- Lead trademark filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement action

/n

- Monitor and act against IP infringements across marketplaces and digital platforms

/n

- Develop and strengthen long-term IP strategy aligned with brand growth





/n /n Customs & Import Compliance /n Oversee compliance under the Customs Act for all imports /n Ensure: /n /n

- Correct HSN classification

/n

- Accurate and complete documentation

/n

- Smooth customs clearance processes

/n

- Track and drive resolution of ongoing legal/customs cases

/n

- Stay updated with regulatory changes, certifications, and notifications

/n

- Risk Mitigation

/n

- Identify legal and regulatory risks across operations

/n

- Design and implement preventive frameworks, SOPs, and controls

/n

- Partner with internal teams to minimize exposure

/n /n Legal Contracts & Advisory /n /n

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners

/n

- Provide timely legal advice (within defined TATs) to internal stakeholders

/n

- Ensure company interests are fully protected in all agreements

/n /n Networks & Technology /n /n

- Build and manage a network of external legal experts and consultants

/n

- Validate external opinions and ensure cost-effective engagement

/n

- Implement legal tech/tools to improve tracking and efficiency

/n /n Key Requirements /n /n

- LLB/LLM

/n

- 4–7 years of experience in legal & compliance roles

/n

- Strong exposure to D2C, e-commerce, imports, or manufacturing setups

/n

- Ability to independently drive ownership and work cross-functionally
