We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager HRBP to partner with business leaders and employees in driving key people initiatives. The role will be responsible for supporting the complete employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention, workforce planning, and HR policy implementation.
The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders and functional heads to understand business objectives and workforce requirements.
- Act as a strategic HR partner and provide guidance on people-related matters.
- Support organizational changes and HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees across assigned business units.
Employee Relations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee relations and address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, probation confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify retention opportunities.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Performance Management
- Support the implementation and execution of the performance management process.
- Partner with managers to address performance concerns and improvement plans.
- Track employee performance trends and support talent development initiatives.
- Facilitate probation and annual performance review processes.
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and workplace culture.
- Analyze attrition trends and recommend appropriate retention strategies.
- Conduct employee feedback sessions and engagement surveys.
- Support recognition and reward initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Support disciplinary and corrective action processes in coordination with management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics such as:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Absenteeism
- Employee turnover
- Engagement
- Performance trends
- Probation and confirmation status
- Present meaningful insights and recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources will be preferred.
- 7-12 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in an HRBP or Employee Relations role.
- Experience working in a rapid-paced corporate environment is preferred.
