About the Role

REGO Mobility is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable to manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and collections function. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, accurate customer accounts, effective reconciliation, and strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances, aging reports, and collection performance.
- Drive timely collection of receivables and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Prepare and analyze AR aging, collection, DSO, and MIS reports.
- Perform regular customer account reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve invoice, payment, and account-related queries.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Billing, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve collection and billing issues.
- Review customer accounts and identify overdue balances, payment risks, and discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate application of customer receipts.
- Track and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, deductions, and disputed invoices.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes,



reduce outstanding receivables, and improve collection efficiency.
- Provide regular updates to management on collection status, risks, and key AR metrics.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required AR documentation and reconciliations.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of the Accounts Receivable team.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, O2C, or Finance Operations.
- Previous experience in a team-handling or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
- Robust reconciliation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines effectively.

Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly collection targets.
- Reduction in overdue and long-outstanding receivables.
- Improvement in DSO and collection efficiency.
- Accuracy and timeliness of AR reconciliations.
- Timely resolution of customer disputes and deductions.
- Reduction in unapplied cash and account discrepancies.
- Timely completion of month-end closing activities.
- Compliance with internal controls and finance processes.
