Make an impact with our Technology – Business Technology Services team as an Application Support Specialist. This diverse team of tech-savvy problem solvers embraces digital transformation and the possibilities technology brings to the future of our industry. As a trusted advisor, you’ll support, utilize and maintain MNP’s technology to ensure smooth IT operations, enabling team members to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical and escalation support for a variety of business-critical applications including assurance and in-house applications
- Assess incoming requests and resolve or escalate issues promptly




- Build strong professional working relationships with various stakeholders and team members
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and workarounds in the Knowledge Base
- Assist in preparing release notes, training materials, and user-focused documentation
- Develop a strong understanding of application functionality from the user’s perspective to improve business processes
- Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the development or product teams to improve system stability and usability
- Contribute ideas to enhance operational workflows, user experience, or support processes
- Escalate complex or unclear issues with thorough documentation and clarity.

Requirements

Skills

- Experience with business applications such as working paper systems, tax applications, CRM/ERP platforms, or enterprise productivity tools
- Post-secondary education in accounting, technology, business systems, IT, or at least 2 years of equivalent professional experience
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into language understandable by non-technical users
- Demonstrated customer-service mindset, a cooperative approach and ability to build professional relationships

Experience with one or more of the following is considered a strong asset:
- Accounting or assurance workflows

- Tax preparation software
- ITSM platforms and structured support processes

Exposure to the following would be considered an asset:
- Integration-heavy applications
- Identity & access dependencies (SSO, authentication flows)

- SLA tracking
- Run books / standard operating procedure

- Knowledge management frameworks

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor degree from an institute of repute
