Position – Analyst, Strategy & Investor Relations

Organisation: Cube Highways Trust

Location: Gurugram, India

Function: Strategy & Investor Relations

Experience: 1-2 years

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, economics or a related discipline

Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-ownership professional to work at the intersection of strategy, investor relations, asset management, and business transformation within the infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and communication capabilities, understand financial models and infrastructure businesses, and demonstrate long-term interest in strategy, asset management, and investor relations.

The role will provide direct exposure to senior management, investors, analysts and key internal stakeholders, with a focus on translating financial and operational data into actionable insights and effective investor communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Business Analysis

- Support strategic initiatives across portfolio companies and new business opportunities.
- Conduct sector research, benchmarking, market intelligence, and thematic studies.
- Evaluate new sectors/opportunities through preliminary due diligence and business assessments.
- Work on cost optimisation, operational improvement, and value creation initiatives across the portfolio.
- Track strategic KPIs, operational metrics, and SLA adherence across teams/functions.

Investor Relations

- Prepare quarterly board and investor presentations, fact sheets and other investor communication materials.
- Support investor meetings,



earnings calls, analyst interactions, conferences and roadshows, including responses to investor and analyst queries.
- Prepare detailed FAQs, briefing notes, and management talking points for investor interactions.
- Coordinate with analysts, rating agencies, institutional investors, and other stakeholders.
- Support outreach to prospective investors and market participants.
- Support the development and maintenance of IR tools, dashboards, investor-facing digital content, and internal technology and automation initiatives.
- Track investor feedback, market developments, valuation trends and relevant InvIT, infrastructure and capital market developments.

Financial Analysis & Modelling

- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, valuation, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, operating performance and key business drivers.

Asset Management & Governance

- Assist in portfolio monitoring and asset performance analysis.
- Prepare Board notes, committee materials, management reports, and review documents.
- Work closely with finance, operations, ESG, legal, projects, procurement, and leadership teams on strategic assignments.




- Coordinate across departments to ensure timely delivery of reports, presentations, and management inputs.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of financial statements with hands-on experience in building financial models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to create concise, management-quality presentations.
- Strong understanding of valuation, cash flows and key financial metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise management/investor communication.
- Strong research orientation and structured problem-solving ability.

Preferred Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Investor Relations or related fields; experience at leading consulting firms (Big 4s/ Boutique consulting firms) or financial services firms preferred.
- Prior experience in Infrastructure, Roads, InvITs, REITs, Financial Services or Capital Markets will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial databases and research tools will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

- The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented and commercially minded, with strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities and the ability to convert complex financial and operational information into clear insights and effective investor communication.
- The role requires someone who is comfortable working with numbers, building models, preparing presentations and interacting with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced workplace.
