Job Purpose: The individual will be a part of Accounting and Business Support team assisting clients in managing their accounting including preparation of MIS and other reports and various applicable compliances including but not limited to Payroll including labour laws, tax withholding, Goods and Services tax, Corporate tax, Reserve bank of India and certifications for foreign remittances.
Responsibilities
- The incumbent shall be responsible for managing a team size of 10-15 persons.
- He shall work closely with the team members and assist them on day-to-day client issues, carry out frequent follow-up on client deliverables and abide by an established set of standard operating procedures.
- The responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to:
- Scrutiny of monthly accounting, management reports and review with books of accounts
- Ensure client compliance deadlines are planned, executed and closed within the available time.
- Proactive in dealing with client issues. All issues must be properly studied, researched and closed within strict deadlines set
- Ensure delegation and coordination among teams to achieve desired results
- Weekly to do meetings to be organized and discussed with the team. Feedback provided to the M/SM/AD/ Partner
- Responding and providing solutions on technical issues to clients and internal teams
- Ensuring systems and processes are being followed by teams
- Regularly discuss and report client issues to the Manager or Partner
- Building and strengthening client relationships through regular meetings
- Guide, direct and motivate team members and team building

Requirements
- Qualified CA, with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in professional services firm.
- Expert in accounting issues and accounting standards (including IND AS) as applicable in India.
- Expert knowledge of tax withholding, payroll processing, direct and indirect tax compliances.
- Basic understanding of labour laws, economic laws, exchange control matters and Companies Act 2013.
- Work experience in GST will be an added advantage.
