About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to build and support the AI backbone powering up-to-date software delivery. The role involves configuring, orchestrating, and optimizing AI models and agents across existing codebases to enable automated gap analysis, requirement refinement, code understanding, and technical specification generation .

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with modern LLMs, AI-native engineering practices, prompt engineering, and software architecture.

? Key Responsibilities

- Configure, orchestrate, and optimize AI models and AI agents for software engineering workflows.
- Implement AI-driven solutions for code analysis, gap analysis, requirement refinement, and specification generation .
- Work with existing enterprise codebases and enable AI-driven analysis.
- Use Claude or similar LLMs within IDE environments for code analysis, generation, refactoring, and refinement.
- Design and optimize effective prompts and AI workflows for software engineering use cases.
- Collaborate with Intent Engineers, developers, architects, and product teams to refine AI-generated specifications.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, reliability, and completeness.
- Build scalable AI workflows integrated with existing software development processes.
- Apply modern software engineering principles to AI-enabled applications and developer tooling.
- Contribute to API design, integrations, microservices, and event-driven architectures .
- Identify opportunities to automate engineering and documentation processes using AI.
- Ensure AI solutions follow security, scalability, maintainability, and engineering best practices.





? Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering / AI engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI-assisted software engineering .
- Solid practical experience with Claude or similar LLMs , preferably using them within IDEs.
- Experience with prompt engineering for code analysis, generation, refinement, and technical specification.
- Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering as a development practice .
- Familiarity with Gastown approaches / AI-native engineering practices .
- Experience working with existing and complex codebases.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture and engineering patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, API design, and system integrations .
- Understanding of microservices architecture .
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and integration patterns .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

⭐ Good to Have
- Experience building AI Agents / Agentic AI workflows .
- Experience with RAG and vector databases.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or similar AI frameworks.
- Experience with AI coding assistants and AI-native IDE workflows.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.

? Candidate Requirements
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
- Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Pune or Bangalore .
- Candidates should have strong hands-on AI/LLM engineering experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
