Role & responsibilities
- Lead full stack delivery across front end and back end, guiding design, build, code review, and release with AWS, React, AEM (including Edge Delivery Services / EDS), and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Architect and operate on AWS, covering compute, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security posture for the properties you support.
- Act as a de facto product lead for your workstream: shape the backlog, write and refine acceptance criteria, prioritize ruthlessly, and connect engineering output to business and patient outcomes.
- Run the agile rhythm for your workstream, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retros, and PI planning within Lilly's SAFe model, and represent your workstream at ART-level syncs.
- Be the primary technical point of contact for marketing, brand, compliance, and platform stakeholders, translating between engineering realities and business intent in both directions.
- Bring AI tools into the day to day: use Claude, Copilot, or similar assistants for code generation, test authoring, documentation, and content workflows, and help drive responsible adoption across the wider team.
- Own production health for your properties: incident response, performance, accessibility, and security remediation.
Preferred candidate profile
- 10 to 12 years of overall experience in technology, with a strong full stack engineering foundation and a track record of owning complex, product-facing systems end to end.
- At least 5 years of hands-on product management experience: owning a roadmap, writing and prioritizing a backlog, running discovery,
and being the person who decides what ships next and why.
- Strong hands-on experience across AWS, React, and Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Sites, components, templates, and Edge Delivery Services (EDS) / Franklin-style authoring.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), or a strong ability to pick it up quickly given prior experience with adjacent Adobe tools.
- Solid AWS experience: Lambda, S3, CloudFront, ECS or EKS, and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
- Working knowledge of agile delivery and SAFe, ideally with a Protected certification (SSM, SPC, or equivalent) or clear practical experience running PI planning.
- A track record of stakeholder management with marketing, legal, compliance, or brand teams, where you had to build trust and move decisions forward.
- Genuinely strong communication skills, written and verbal. You can write a crisp status update and also hold the room in a steering committee meeting.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development and delivery: prompt engineering, working with code assistants like Claude or Copilot, and using AI to speed up testing, documentation, or content operations.
- Familiarity with evaluating AI systems: setting up evals, defining quality and accuracy benchmarks for LLM-based features, and knowing when an AI output is good enough to ship.
Exposure to building or integrating with AI agents, RAG-based search or content retrieval, and a basic sense of how to reason about model choice, latency, and cost trade-offs
