Role Description As an Admission Counsellor at Universal Group of Institutions, you will work on-site at the Bengaluru campus in a full-time capacity. You will engage with prospective students and families, provide detailed information about programs and integrated coaching offerings, and guide them through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment. Daily activities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to phone, email, and in-person queries, organizing campus visits, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions.
You will collaborate with academic and administrative teams to support admission events, outreach activities, and follow-up communication. The role also involves meeting admission targets, sharing feedback from applicants, and contributing to a positive, student-focused admission experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for counseling and relationship building.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle queries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive applicant experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct follow-ups, and support admission targets ethically.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding to explain academic programs, integrated coaching, and career pathways clearly.
- Relevant skills such as fluency in English and local languages, proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools), and the ability to present information confidently in group settings are beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, prior experience in admissions, counseling, or education services, and a solid interest in guiding students toward competitive examinations will be an advantage.
