Role Summary

We are looking for an experiencedADM Architectwith 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise inJava and modern application architecture, complemented by experience inData platforms/engineering and Cloud technologies.

The architect will provide technical leadership across Application Development & Maintenance engagements, define target architectures, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Own theend-to-end technical architecturefor enterprise ADM applications and platforms.
- Design scalable solutions usingJava, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Define application modernization strategies, including monolith-to-microservices transformation and cloud migration.
- Provide architecture guidance acrossapplication, integration, data, and cloud layers.
- Review existing applications and identify opportunities for modernization, performance improvement, technical-debt reduction, and cost optimization.
- Design and govern API, integration, caching, messaging, and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Work with Data Architects and Engineers ondata models, data integration, pipelines, databases, and analytical platforms.
- Provide architectural guidance for relational, NoSQL, data lake,



and cloud-based data solutions.
- Define cloud-native architecture leveraging services available onAWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Drive adoption of containers and orchestration technologies such asDocker and Kubernetes.
- Establish architecture and engineering standards covering scalability, availability, resiliency, observability, security, and maintainability.
- Guide engineering teams on design patterns, coding standards, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and production readiness.
- Perform architecture/design reviews and provide technical direction to development and support teams.
- Support production problem management, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Mentor technical leads and senior engineers and help build strong engineering practices across ADM teams.

Required Technical Skills Primary Java & Application Architecture

- 10+ years of overall IT/application development experience with significant architecture or technical leadership responsibilities.
- Solid hands-on knowledge ofJava/J2EE and modern Java frameworks.
- Strong experience withSpring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices.




- Good understanding of domain-driven design, design patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with messaging/streaming technologies such asKafka, MQ, or equivalent.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, resilient, and high-performance enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of API management, authentication/authorization, caching, and integration patterns.

Secondary – Data

- Good understanding ofData Engineering and Data Architectureconcepts.
- Experience with relational databases such asOracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakes/lakehouses, data quality, and data governance.
- Exposure to technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent is desirable.
- Ability to design application-to-data-platform integration patterns.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform:AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions.
- Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, managed databases, storage, networking, and IAM.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent is desirable.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana, or cloud-native alternatives.
