About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to join our team. This role involves working closely with Canadian clients and supporting a British Columbia–based accounting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations, tax support, and client communication, all from the comfort of their home.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in Canadian accounting standards and compliance procedures. While the role is primarily remote, candidates may be required to attend occasional in-person training sessions at our Noida Sector 62 office. The role operates on a fixed night shift schedule (IST), from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, aligning with the time zone of our Canadian clients, providing a unique work-life balance experience.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with Canadian or US firms. Candidates who are CA Inter or have completed articleship are encouraged to apply. Prior experience working night shifts in India is a significant advantage.

You must own a reliable laptop or desktop with high-speed internet connectivity to ensure seamless workflow. Preference will be given to candidates based in NCR regions such as Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon, although applicants from other parts of India are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to travel occasionally for in-person training at our Noida office.

Responsibilities

- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks using Excel and QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with GST/HST/PST filings, payroll taxes, and corporate tax support to ensure adherence to Canadian tax regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial statement working papers, supporting the preparation of financial reports.
- Handle payroll processing and facilitate client onboarding to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients via email and phone,



addressing their queries promptly and effectively.

Tools & Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory for managing client accounts efficiently.
- Strong skills in Excel and MS Office suite to handle data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Working knowledge of IFRS / GAAP accounting standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with comfort in understanding Canadian and American accents.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
