About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a solid background in automation testing using Selenium and Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in software testing, with a solid understanding of database technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective testing strategies and automation frameworks.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and design test cases accordingly.
- Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Perform database testing and validate data integrity across various database technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices in automation testing.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 7+ years of experience as an SDET with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficient in Selenium and Playwright for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong technical expertise in automation framework development and quality engineering.
