· Guest Relations: Welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, confirm reservations, and escort patrons to their tables.

· Order Management: Present menus, explain dishes, offer expert recommendations, upsell items, and take accurate food and beverage orders.

· Floor Supervision: Monitor the dining section continuously to ensure timely food delivery, proper pacing of courses, and seamless coordination between waiters and the kitchen.

· Quality Control: Check food presentation and temperature before it leaves the pass or is served to the table.

· Problem Solving: Address guest complaints immediately with empathy and practical solutions, ensuring complete satisfaction.

Post-Service Responsibilities

· Billing and Feedback: Oversee guest check presentation, process payments securely, and collect direct verbal feedback regarding the dining experience.

· Closing Duties: Ensure all bills are settled in the POS, side stations are locked and restocked, and the dining area is clean and reset for the next shift.





· Reporting: Compile end-of-shift reports detailing total sales, guest counts, staff performance notes, and maintenance issues for the Restaurant Management Guide or general manager.

Staff Training and Leadership

· Mentorship: Train junior servers and stewards on service standards, menu knowledge, wine pairings, and upselling techniques.

· Performance Monitoring: Guide the floor team by example, providing constructive feedback and enforcing health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
