Context & Job Purpose

We are looking for a seasoned Pricing & Finance professional to lead a team of analysts and drive strategic pricing initiatives across existing client portfolios. This role plays a critical part in enabling value expansion, optimizing margins, and supporting commercial decision-making through data-driven insights and financial modeling.

Key responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

- - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts to deliver high-quality pricing and financial analysis
- Drive performance through coaching, feedback, and accountability
- Oversee workload planning, execution, and quality of deliverables

Pricing Strategy & Commercial Excellence

- Lead pricing strategy development for value expansion opportunities across existing clients
- Drive commercial initiatives including RFP/RFQ pricing, renewals, and margin optimization
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams to design competitive pricing solutions
- Collaborate with Pricing leadership to define and execute tactical pricing plans

Financial Analysis & Modeling

- Conduct detailed cost, revenue, and profitability analysis
- Develop and review financial models, pricing models, and business cases
- Ensure projects meet key financial metrics (NPV, IRR, Payback, EBIT, margins)
- Provide recommendations on pricing structures and financing strategies

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Present pricing insights and recommendations to executive leadership, sales, and business teams




- Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional stakeholders on commercial decisions

Process Improvement & Analytics

- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within Pricing & Finance
- Develop data collection mechanisms and strengthen pricing databases
- Manage reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking for pricing performance

Operational Support

- Support leadership with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and strategic projects
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all pricing and financial outputs

Experience Required

- Master’s degree in Finance / Commerce / Business Administration OR
Engineering degree (BE/B.Tech) with MBA / PGDBA
- 8+ years of experience in: Pricing & Commercial Finance / Business Finance
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
