Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically competent Anesthesia Technician to assist the anesthetist and surgical team in providing safe and efficient anesthesia services. The candidate will be responsible for preparing anesthesia equipment, ensuring the availability of required supplies, assisting during procedures, and maintaining anesthesia-related equipment and records.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the anesthesia workstation, equipment, instruments, and required supplies before procedures.
- Assist the anesthetist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia as directed.
- Ensure the availability of anesthesia drugs, airway devices, breathing circuits, and other necessary consumables.
- Check anesthesia machines, monitors, oxygen supply, suction, and related equipment before procedures.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining airway management equipment.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor the availability and functionality of emergency equipment and supplies.
- Assist in the safe transfer and positioning of patients as required.
- Support the anesthetist during surgical and emergency procedures.
- Maintain proper stock records of anesthesia-related drugs, consumables, and equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Follow infection prevention, biomedical waste management,



and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain required documentation and checklists related to anesthesia services.
- Immediately report equipment malfunction, shortage of supplies, or other concerns to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate effectively with anesthetists, surgeons, OT technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

- Diploma/B.Sc. in Anesthesia Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as an Anesthesia Technician will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualification may also apply.

Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge of airway management equipment and basic anesthesia-related practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in a surgical environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
