About the Role
The Director, Delivery Management ensures the on-time delivery of all published services within our Global Technical Delivery (GTD) organization. Reporting to the Head of Global Technical Delivery, Endpoint Solutions, you will build and lead a scalable organization that flexes with changing needs. Drawing on deep delivery expertise, you will partner closely with the Global Project Management organization to ensure client expectations are met, collaborate with teams across and outside Signant Health, and drive the adoption of delivery best practices throughout the organization. This is an inspirational leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, leads change through influence, and operates autonomously.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Function

- Own on-time delivery of all technical delivery commitments, applying deep expertise in enterprise solution delivery — including large-scale, complex resource scheduling, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
- Enforce industry and regulatory best practices and consistency of standards across your pods, with deep expertise in one or more major competencies (Solution, Engineering, Testing, Delivery).
- Lead geographically dispersed teams, with direct management responsibility or indirect oversight of deliverables for two or more concurrent projects at a time.
- Manage exacting client expectations and execute resource-management solutions that allow teams to scale in response to changing needs.




- Set and drive strategic and tactical direction using industry-standard delivery and team-performance metrics, continually adjusting to raise team performance.
- Represent your teams at Delivery Cross-Portfolio Planning exercises, focusing on release coordination and critical-path alignment, and act as decision-maker and escalation point for resolving implementation impediments.
- Partner closely with Global Project Management, Sales, Product, and R&D; to create a closed-loop feedback cycle of innovation.
- Coach technical teams on capability and implementation best practices, emphasizing agility to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Implement financially sound resource-utilization solutions indexed on low-cost operations and a progressive skills-management framework.
- Influence direction and decisions without reliance on hierarchy, executing courageously and fostering a culture of agility, growth, and accountability through transparent leadership.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential:

- Twelve or more years of combined, progressive experience in enterprise solution delivery, software engineering, and/or solution architecture — preferably including consulting services delivery.
- Eight or more years of progressive, global departmental and personnel management experience within engineering and delivery organizations of 25 or more reports.
- Experience in significant practice-building and/or organizational-redesign efforts, preferably including successful agile delivery transformations in high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrated success defining and rolling out quality strategy, standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices for enterprise software development.
- Track record of creating “Communities of Practice” around software development and delivery competencies and leading their global rollout across at least two countries or locations.
- Hands-on leadership managing concurrent end-to-end projects and/or turning around failing engagements with minimal collateral damage.
- A passion for staying current on trends in engineering, automation, professional services, agile processes, and project management.
- Excellence in organizational management,



including coaching senior-level staff to build and develop high-performance teams.
- Exceptional operational and business leadership skills, including change leadership, stakeholder influence, and innovation in project-management approaches.
- An innovative mindset that challenges the status quo and drives sustainable change across the organization.

Desirable:

- Strong work ethic with high levels of initiative to lead in a changing workplace.
- Ability to operate within a matrixed organization using organizational thinking, influence, self-management, collaboration, customer focus, and empathy.
- Flexibility to accommodate a global workforce across time zones, with approximately 25% international and domestic travel.
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
