The Role
You own the thinking behind every client account.
You will run discovery, build the strategy, decide the channel mix, set the targets, and hold the delivery team to them. You are not executing every task, you are the person the client trusts to tell them the truth about what will and won’t work, and the person our specialists come to when a campaign isn’t performing.
This is a senior, high-ownership role with a direct line to the founder. It is also hands-on: in The first year you will be building the playbooks, not inheriting them.
What You’ll Do
Client Strategy
- Run structured discovery sessions with founders and business owners; translate business goals into marketing objectives
- Build 90-day and annual marketing roadmaps with defined channel mix, budgets, targets and success metrics
- Set realistic lead volume, CPL and pipeline targets and defend them with data
Performance & Accountability
- Own monthly and quarterly performance reviews; present results directly to client founders
- Diagnose underperforming campaigns across SEO, paid, social and content, and decide
- the corrective action
- Track spend efficiency, lead quality and retention across your accounts
Channel Ownership (strategy level, with specialist execution)
- SEO and Google Business Profile for local visibility
- Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Organic social and content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Founder personal branding and thought leadership positioning
- Website and landing page strategy, funnel design, conversion optimization
Team & Systems
- Brief and review the work of SEO, content, design, ads, video and web specialists
- Mentor junior marketers; raise the quality bar through review, not rework
- Document what works process guides, templates, checklists, sector frameworks, so quality scales beyond you
Growth Support
- Deliver digital presence audits for prospects and turn them into strategy conversations
- Join pitches and proposal conversations as the senior strategic voice
- Build case studies from accounts that perform
What We’re Looking For
Must have
- 5–8 years in digital marketing, with at least 3 in an agency or multi-client workplace
- Demonstrated ownership of client strategy not just execution of someone else’s plan
- Hands-on fluency across paid and organic: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile
- Ability to build a media plan and defend a budget allocation with numbers
- Experience presenting to business owners and founders; comfortable delivering uncomfortable truths
- Strong written and spoken English; conversational Tamil for local client relationships
- Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and meet clients in person
Strong advantage
- Personal branding and LinkedIn content strategy for founders
- Short-form video strategy
- Google Ads / Meta Blueprint certifications
- Experience building SOPs or training material for a growing team
