Senior OT Pharmacist

Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune

Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women

- Manage the overall operations of the Operation theatre Pharmacy Store including billing, receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining stock of medicines and consumables.
- Ensure protected, secure and compliant storage conditions for all pharmaceutical products as per regulatory norms.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and initiate timely indenting and disposal procedures to avoid shortages and wastage.
- Coordinate with consultant for accurate orders to fulfill the material request on time with the help of central pharmacy and purchase department.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using pharmacy management software and conduct stock audits as per the SOPs.
- Supervise pharmacists and other relevant staff of pharmacy store, ensuring all procedures are followed and operational tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Handle grievances of staff under stores and ensure decorum & discipline in stores in all respect




- Conduct and participate in various dept/inter-dept audits
- Maintain updated documentation, forms and required registers as per statutory requirements
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, legal regulations, hospital policies and NABH requirements.
- Analyze consumption trends and forecast future requirements to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying cost.
- Handle returns, damage claims and expired stock management in coordination with Operation theatre team.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on inventory status, expenditures, and compliance.
- Responsible, accountable and answerable for variance, pilferage and damage of inventory stock.
- Ensure proper charging and reconciliation of Surgery kit as per the usage.

Requirement of Qualification and experience :

30 years to 40 years of age,

D. Pharm 12 Years+ experience,

B. Pharm 10+ year experience,

M. Pharm 8 Years+ experience. 1 year in same profile

Working in rotational shifts is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
