Position: MEP Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

- Review and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) drawings, specifications, BOQs and design documents.
- Coordinate MEP services with Architectural, Structural, Civil and other engineering disciplines.
- Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, technical datasheets and method statements.
- Coordinate with MEP contractors, subcontractors, vendors and consultants for smooth execution.
- Monitor MEP works at site and ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, codes and project requirements.
- Identify design clashes and site constraints and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Review and verify BOQs, quantity requirements, technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Monitor project progress and ensure MEP activities are completed as per the approved project schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections and raise/close Inspection Requests (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and technical observations.
- Coordinate and monitor testing & commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, safety standards and project specifications.
- Attend coordination meetings with the Client, Architect, Consultants, Contractors and Project Team.




- Provide technical support for resolving MEP-related site issues and RFIs.
- Review as-built drawings and ensure proper documentation and handover of MEP systems.
- Prepare/maintain MEP progress reports, inspection records and technical documentation.
- Support tendering activities including technical evaluation, BOQ review and contractor/vendor evaluation.

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems.
- Good understanding of MEP coordination and building services.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian Codes, NBC and applicable statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP / Navisworks will be an added advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in commercial / institutional / residential / industrial projects preferred.
- Ability to independently coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Qualification :B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant MEP discipline.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
