Job Description – LMS Design Engineer / CAD Engineer1. Design & Drafting

- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Lighting Management Systems (LMS) and Lighting Control Systems.
- Create lighting layouts, control zoning drawings, wiring diagrams, device placement layouts, conduit routes, control panel drawings, and schematic diagrams.
- Prepare drawings for lighting controllers, sensors, switches, dimmers, relays, gateways, and other LMS devices.
- Update drawings based on site measurements, design changes, and project requirements.

2. System Planning & Engineering

- Interpret project requirements, architectural layouts, electrical drawings, and BOQs to develop accurate LMS designs.
- Plan lighting control zones, device locations, control panels, cable pathways, and integration points.
- Support the engineering team in preparing cable schedules, load details, panel configurations, and system layouts.
- Coordinate LMS requirements with lighting fixtures, electrical systems, and other building services.

3. Documentation & Quality Control

- Prepare complete design and documentation packages, including layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, and connection details.
- Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and project documentation as per company guidelines.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.

4. Coordination & Communication

- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, electrical consultants, architects, and installation teams.




- Work with vendors and suppliers to understand LMS equipment requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in technical discussions and resolve design-related issues.

5. Technical & Site Support

- Provide technical clarifications and revised drawings based on site conditions and project changes.
- Support installation and commissioning teams with accurate drawings and documentation.
- Assist in identifying design clashes and propose practical solutions.

6. Software & Technical Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Knowledge of Revit, Dialux, Visio, or other design software will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of lighting control systems, sensors, dimming, relays, control panels, and communication protocols will be preferred.

7. Compliance & Standards

- Ensure all LMS designs comply with applicable electrical, safety, and project standards.
- Follow best practices for lighting control system design, wiring, device placement, and system integration.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in AutoCAD drafting and electrical/lighting system design.
- Knowledge or exposure to Lighting Management Systems (LMS), Lighting Control Systems, Building Automation, or Home Automation will be an added advantage.
- Positive understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
