Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
up vehicle program
Work with Architecture and System COE teams to establish the overall vehicle including hard points, general layout, and modularity across potential variants.
Integrating various system designs in a vehicle while ensuring optimal cost, quality and performance.
Working Collaboratively with various system leads/PEL's and PEH's, CAE/NVH/Crash simulation team, safety team, homologation team, Product Planning, Design Studio Manufacturing, Service and others to ensure all systems get integrated optimally in vehicle package.
Developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams to align vehicle integration requirements and manage expectations.
Define and implement best practices, tools, and processes for efficient integration, documentation, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle
To guide vehicle integration team for benchmarking from interface design, system design and integration perspective and get best practices adopted in vehicle systems
To study the product change requests from product planning and prepare design options, change matrix to help management take decisions.
To prepare system design change content for complete vehicle, technical report detailing various options along with decision matrices, periodic updates for project team and management.
To ensure that throughout project execution, overall vehicle architecture, ergonomics, cost, weight, quality is not compromised.
to work with costing and component development team to verify over all product cost and investments with respect to proposed design changes.
To review, verify, monitor and help vehicle integration team to resolve vehicle package interface open points and Bill of materials (BOM).
To identify critical vehicle integration risks and highlight to senior management.
Inspire team to innovate on the job and create IPR for the company

BE/BTECH/MTECH
General Requirements
Robust engineering fundamentals especially in fields relevant to automobile.
Knowledge of automobile market and technology trends.
Fundamental knowledge of design and development tools and techniques
Knowledge of Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Architecture, Ergonomics and DMU
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to passenger vehicles
Knowledge of Interface DFMEA/DVP/DFM/DFA/DFS, GD&T;
Basic knowledge of critical design/functional requirements of all vehicle systems
Basic knowledge on FEA, CFD and NVH tools/techniques used to optimize vehicle systems
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and prototyping techniques
Knowledge of basics of cost and investment drivers to enable vehicle/system optimization
Skills in benchmarking and competitive analysis
must proficiency in CATIA/3DS, TC-Visualization and equivalent CAD, PLM & DMU tools.
Skills in MS Office, Power Automate and Power BI
Ability to plan, monitor, mitigate risks and timely escalations to deliver projects.
