Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, price negotiation, purchase planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Identify and develop new vendors for raw materials, components, consumables, machinery and engineering items.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, quality, delivery schedules and contracts.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and pending supplies.
- Conduct vendor evaluation and performance reviews.
- Develop alternate sources to reduce dependency on single vendors.
- Control procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Finance and Projects teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Resolve quality, delivery and commercial issues with suppliers.




- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor records and purchase reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement
- Vendor development and vendor management
- Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing/engineering materials
- Purchase planning and inventory management
- Robust knowledge of ERP systems
- Positive Excel and MIS skills
- Ability to manage a procurement team
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of PO, RFQ, quotation comparison and commercial terms

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Graduate with relevant procurement experience.

Preferred Industry Experience:
Manufacturing, Engineering, Plastic Injection Moulding, Auto Components, Pumps, Industrial Equipment or similar industries.

Location Requirement

Location: Kandivali West, Mumbai

Candidates residing in or near Kandivali West / Borivali / Malad / Goregaon / Jogeshwari / Andheri and nearby areas will be preferred.

Salary: ₹8–10 LPA, depending on experience and suitability.
